Want to thank Joe and his team for taking care of our Daughter’s car. She lives in Frisco and we live North of Houston. We called them at 5 pm on a Thursday with engine light on and engine vibration…Joe and his team waited until she arrived and had all the paperwork filed out…24 hours later Daughter picked her car up running like new! Was comforting to her mother and I that our daughter was being taken care of!
I initially came here To have my catalytic converters replaced after they were stolen, They worked very well with my insurance and the process was smooth. I also had them do some routine maintenance while my truck was in the shop. The troubles began after I left. My truck continued to smell like gasoline and I heard a loud exhaust noise constantly. And a lot of rattling under the truck. I took it back to them and told them of my concerns which they told me that they replaced a small gasket in the exhaust pipe, But I would have to pay another $1300 to fix my cracked manifold. This was after the shop had already been paid approximately $6000 through my insurance including a $500 Deductible out of pocket. I found it kind of strange that my manifold was now cracked which is connected to the parts they replaced. I took my truck to 2 more muffler only shops who told me that the last person did not install the Manifold back to the engine correctly. I was shown that there was one bolt missing, One bolt loose, One bolt stripped, And one bolt on just right. I DID NOT HAVE A CRACKED MANIFOLD. I called my insurance and explained to them the situation and because this was covered initially under insurance that they would cover all the costs to make sure the repair was done correctly so that even if my manifold was cracked , Solutions automotive Should have called my insurance and not have Gave me a second estimate for $1300 to continue to fix the problem out of pocket. I also found out that the rattling under my truck was loose catalytic converter Shields, I Finally took my truck to The reputable muffler shop which told me of the real problem and they fixed it in under 2 hours and I now have no Gasoline smell, No more rattling, And this was all covered by my insurance. If this place had done some more investigating and took their time to look at my truck they probably could have figured out the problem Rather than guessing and just trying to get me to pay more money Out of pocket even though this was an insurance problem. I'm honestly just disappointed. I only gave it 2 stars because they did do my maintenance correctly. Which is the bare necessity for basic shops. I'm sure this place is fine if you want to get your fluids changed, But if you're gonna get something complex or mechanically expensive I would probably go to a specialty shop.
