Frisco Automotive has been my go to shop for over 10 years. The staff if very friendly and take the time to explain the issues with your vehicle BEFORE making repairs.They also give you options with making any repairs you need. If you don’t need something done right away, they will tell you, just like they will if you DO need to repair something immediately. Frisco Automotive is VETERAN FRIENDLY. They have helped me and my Post 8273 members with issues that were previously quoted from other shops. In one instance, one of our members went to Firestone where they advised him that he would need a whole new oil pan on a 2021 truck which would have cost him a fortune. It turns out that the issue was easily resolvable with a simple bolt which cost him over 70% less money. They fixed it within an hour which was impressive since we walked in that morning. The bottom line is that I trust Frisco Automotive and have for years on three different vehicles of my own and for several of my friends. Frisco Automotive is a no-BS kind of car repair company and work on establishing and maintaining relationships which is the reason that I continue to use them as my go-to shop. The fact that the owner Jason, Warren, and Richard know mostly every customer by name and greet you with a smile and “how may we help you” upon entering is a major key for me. The fact that they are veteran friendly is also a game changer. They are a small shop and offer the best prices, hands down because they don’t have the high overhead like most repair shops. If you ever need car repairs, try Frisco Automotive and you too will be a customer for life!!!
I can not praise Frisco Automotive enough! They have always been honest and fair about services recommended. We actually still bring our vehicles here even though we moved 30 minutes away. Best customer service! Today was no surprise. Richard was super helpful, explained everything that needed to be done and even went above and beyond helping with my bicycle. Richard and Warren and the entire staff always take great care of us and our vehicles! I would highly recommend Frisco Automotive!
Took my Jeep Wrangler in 12/20 for transmission issue. FA replaced the transmission, I paid them almost 6k that was that. Mid 2021, took it back in for a clicking noise in transmission they did a transmission service. Paid for that service. They said all was fine. The clicking noise continues. Transmission still didn’t feel right. 09/22 transmission is out AGAIN. My original paperwork from FA stated 3 year warranty. No written exceptions-flat statement of 3 year warranty. Took it back in. First, I was made to feel I was LUCKY the vendor approved replacing the transmission. Wait what? Seemed like a strange statement to me. Then I was informed that labor would be $1,600+ Very frustrating-it was Not my fault you used a faulty transmission in the first place. No where was it stated that they wouldn’t cover the entire replacement process. So just 21 months after paying almost 6k for a new transmission I had to pay another $1600 not to mention I had to rent a car for 3 weeks so that was another $1000. So disappointed in the whole process and I feel I was taken advantage of. I expected more out of a local, long-time Frisco company. Lisa Wright
Had a bad transmission leak that needed immediate repair before getting worse. I took it to Frisco Automotive one morning and by the afternoon everything was all set. They kept good communication throughout the day updating me on what they'd inspected, possible causes, and estimated pricing. They didn't try and sell me more than I needed and just focused on the task at hand. Given the speed, quality and communication I felt the price was reasonable and glad everything worked out well. I plan to return to them for any car repair needs.
I limped into Frisco Automotive with a very flat tire on a busy Thursday morning. Jason and his professional and courteous staff worked me in, offered to drop me at my office, made the repair in a timely manner and sent me on my way. As a 20 year resident of Frisco, I found them to be an outstanding place for automotive repair.
